Kolkatans walk for wildlife

KOLKATA: Kolkatans, including celebrities, college-goers and schoolchildren, walked to save wildlife on Sunday.

“The prime objective of this programme is to generate awareness among the students of school, colleges and universities. A number of prominent institutions have consented to join the same,” said

Students of colleges and universities are walked the rally with hand-made posters. Following the walk, an essay competition on the topic "Wildlife tourism - Ecosystem to Economics" was held and was attended by college and university students.
