KOLKATA: The West Bengal health department on Wednesday deputed a group of senior doctors to investigate the incident of a leading city hospital providing ‘wrong blood sugar report’ to state fire services minister Pratim Chatterjee.

KOLKATA: The West Bengal health department on Wednesday deputed a group of senior doctors to investigate the incident of a leading city hospital providing ‘wrong blood sugar report’ to state fire services minister Pratim Chatterjee.
Director of state health services Prabhakar Chatterjee said that these doctors have been asked to submit their report as soon as possible.

The investigating team of doctors would see whether the hospital had flouted provisions of the Clinical Establishment Act.
The licence of the hospital would be cancelled if it was found that it had violated the Act, he added.
