KOLKATA: The 1986 alumni association of DN De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital organized its silver jubilee celebrations on Sunday. The batch came up with the resolution to set up a first-of-its-kind multi speciality hospital in the state.
Convener of the 1986 alumni association Amal Kumar Samanta said that they were planning to set up the homoeopathy hospital in a semiurban area.
"We will talk to the government and also approach private companies for funds. We will require a minimum of five-acre land. Currently there is not a single private homoeopathic hospital in the country," Samanta said. There are plans to have quarters within the hospital complex.
