Formidables in final

Kolkata: Formidables, a Delhi-based team, lived up to its billing, storming into the team event final of the ongoing the sixth All India Shree Cement Bridge Championship after drubbing local challengers ‘Pradeep’ in the penultimate round. The Delhi team — represented by Rajeshwar Tewari, Sumit Mukherjee, Kaustabh Nandi, Sagnik Roy, Sayantan Kushari and Sagnik Bendre — forced a massive lead of 104- 38 IMPs after the end of third round in the first semifinal at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in New Town. Formidables will face the winners between Mavericks and Shree Cement in the final.
