BJP candidate Subrata Thakur attacked at Bhatpara

KOLKATA: Subrata Thakur who is contesting as the BJP candidate in Bongaon by poll was attacked allegedly by Trinamool workers.
Thakur and his father Manjul Thakur a Trinamool had recently joined BJP.
The attack took place at Bhatpara in ward 2 and the Trinamool leadership disowned the attack. They said that the attack was a handiwork of BJP supporters due to inner party fight.
The assault took place when Thakur was campaigning and the attackers damaged a stage.
