Beleaguered MSC seek turnaround

Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting are desperately seeking a change in their fortunes as they host Real Kashmir in their I-League match at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan on Friday.
Amid reports that the team’s recent string of poor results has jeopardized Russian coach Andrey Chernyshov’s future, they can ill-afford to slip up against the visitors, managed by former India defender Mehrajuddin Wadoo.
Chernyshov didn’t address the pre-match press conference on Thursday and in his place, assistant coach Joseph Naik said that “we can’t afford to lose tomorrow.” tnn
