Bail refused to murder accused

MIDNAPORE: The bail pleas of Goutam Jain, Rajiv Mehra and Somnath Roy Chowdhury were rejected for the third time on Thursday. They have been remanded in judicial custody for another 14 days. The trio, arrested on August 9, will be produced in court again on September 11. Goutam Jain, producer of a reality show, Rajiv Mehra, production manager, and Somnath Roy Chowdhury, a participant, and Romi Nag Chowdhury allegedly threw Prasun down from the fifth floor of Hotel Ritz Bengal on the midnight of August 8 when he protested against their indecent behaviour.
