With its gripping football drama, Riingo’s

Messi

is already offering an adrenaline rush to the audience. CT spoke to a few

Tollywood

stars about the film. Here’s what they had to say…

Sudiptaa Chakraborty: It is a fantastic film. Riingo should take a bow just for the concept. If I am not mistaken, he has been working on the idea for years. His effort has finally paid off. The film is a visual treat. Riingo proves that you don’t need a humongous budget to make a good film. I am floored by the performance of the two youngsters — Ronodeep Bose and Aryann. While Rono is lucid and effortless in the film, Aryann looks tailor-made for his character.

Amrita Chattopadhyay: There is madness in Riingo when it comes to work and Messi proves that. The actors in the film are absolutely brilliant. Ronodeep and Aryann portrayed their characters like real footballers. They must have worked really hard to show the skills on screen. Though they didn’t flaunt the rigours of training, their performances clearly show their hard work. There’s an infectious energy about the film.
