UBT Yuva Sena workers protest in Kolhapur

Kolhapur: Workers belonging to Shiv Sena (UBT)’s youth wing Yuva Sena tore posters and blackened the hoardings outside Shivraj Motegaonkar’s coaching class branch located in Shahupuri area of Kolhapur city on Tuesday morning.

Classes have been called off and the students have been asked to take a leave since Motegaonkar has been arrested in the NEET leak case. Motegaonkar started a branch of the RCC coaching centre in Kolhapur a few years ago for medical and engineering aspirant students.

Yuva Sena’s Kolhapur chief Manjeet Mane, who led the protesters, said, “Motegaonkar and those arrested in the NEET leak case have played with the emotions of lakhs of students. The parents are also feeling cheated. The students who genuinely worked hard are feeling cheated. Therefore, we decided to carry out the protest in our way,” said Mane.
