Three held in bike theft cases

Kolhapur: Police have arrested three people involved in bike theft crimes and recovered 27 bikes worth over Rs 6.7 lakh.
In the last three months, over 40 cases of bike theft have been registered in various police stations of the Kolhapur and Sangli districts. They found the involvement of the same people in all these crimes. The bikes were sold in the market.The police traced the sellers and arrested three people.
The accused have been identified as Mallikarjun Kalappa Mhetri, Ambadas Shrimant Bablad and Asif Akbar Mujawar. All three are from Sangli. tnn
