Kolhapur: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Std X Result on Thursday, and many students in Kolhapur logged in to see their results.
In Sanjay Ghodawat International School, a total of 112 students scored above 90% marks, 95 students scored between 80-90% marks and 59 students scored 70-80% marks. Sasmita Mohanty, the director and principal of the school said, "Proper planning, mock exams, weekly chapter wise tests and hard work by students and trust by the parents helped our pupils achieve success."
The highest scorers were Shreya Sachin Ghatage (99%), Shubhankar Avadhoot Korade (98.6%), Ishan Vyankatesh Tarkasband (98.4%), Naman Yoganand Phulari (98.4%), Prithviraj Sangram Patil (98.4%), Jayni Mukeshkumar Balar (98.4%)and Yash Pavan Patil (98.4%).
In the subject of artificial intelligence, 46 students scored 100%. As many as 20 students scored 100% in Marathi, 19 students in Sanskrit, 11 students in English, two students in Science and one student scored 100% in French.
Dr Cyrus Poonawalla International School in Peth Vadgaon area continued its streak of 100% of its students clearing the exam this time as well. Out of a totalof 109 students appearing for the exam, seven students scored 100% in English Language and Literature and two students scored 100% in Information Technology subject.
Shreya Umaji Patil secured 98% marks emerging as school topper, Chirayu Parikshit Bhutada followed with 97.2%, Anshul Pravinkumar Gaikwad passed with 96.6%. Other students of the schools who did well in the exams were Siddhesh Udaykumar Patil (95.4%), Zainab Zuzar Chhatriwala (95.2%) and Vedansh Prashant Ghorpade (95%). A total of 74 students from Dr D Y Patil Academy in Shantiniketan area scored above 90% and 76 students scored above 89%.
Jayshree Jadhav, principal of the school said, "These results are not built overnight. They were shaped through consistency, trust, and everyday effort in the classroom." Simlarly, Rajashree Kakade, director of the school said that the results are collective contribution of the students, teachers and parents which made 100% students clear the exam.
Students who did well were Avani Joshi (99.2%) and Isha Patil (99.2%), Mrunmayee Walase (98.8%), Sohan Wadhwani (98.6%), Rohan Chandugade (98.4%), Ayush Kumbhar (98.4%) and Shreeya Jarag (98.2%).
