Kolhapur: First class judicial magistrate V V Patil transferred the hearing of veteran communist leader and rationalist Govind Pansare’s murder to district court on Friday.The prime accused in the case, Virendra Tawade, was given details of the charges framed against him by Special Investigation Agency (SIT) through video conferencing.The SIT on November 29 submitted the charge sheet against Tawade who was arrested in September from the custody of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and is locked up at Yerwada Jail. Tawade is member of Hindu Jan Jagruti and full time follower of Sanatan Sanstha.The charge sheet mentions Tawade as the brain behind Pansare murder in February last year. The SIT has accused Tawade's aide Sarang Akolkar and Vinay Pawar for pumping bullets into Pansare.
