Woman’s suicide: Cong leader arrested

Kottayam: A Youth Congress leader was arrested on Wednesday after a woman's suicide note blamed him for her death in Adoor. Enathu police arrested Suhail Ansari, 33, of Poruvazhy, for abetment of suicide.The 37-year-old woman was found hanging on the terrace of her residence in Kadampanad, on Saturday.
The woman who worked as office staff at a school, reportedly mentioned in the note that she was troubled by Ansari, who allegedly demanded a physical relationship and asked for private photos. This led the probe to focus on him. TNN
