Minister praises state’s efforts

Kochi: Minister of state for panchayati raj Kapil Moreshwar Patil has said Kerala has set the best model for poverty eradication through sustainable development. “Meaningful implementation of panchayati raj system is taking place in Kerala. It is appreciable that a decent budgetary allocation is made by the state government for local bodies,” the minister said while inaugurating the three-day national workshop on Localization of Sustainable Development Goals (LSGDs) in Gram Panchayats through Adopting Thematic Approaches’ at the Cochin International Airport Ltd Convention Centre on Monday. tnn
