Joseph also said that Mani will come out of the present crisis clearing all suspicion.
Thousands of people had arrived at the Kurisupally junction where the stage was arranged for Mani's speech. As he had hinted in the morning that he will speak his mind out in Pala, the people were anxiously waiting to hear him speak. Mani began his speech mentioning about his love for Pala and his people.
By quoting the biblical verse 'Give to Caesar What Is Caesar’s: Give to God What Is God’s', Mani said that through his 13 budgets he has given Pala what is Pala's and Given to Kerala What is Kerala's.
As he was about to conclude, the many from the audience urged him to speak out his mind regarding the conspiracy angle in the Bar bribery scam. However, he refused to hit the topic and instead slammed CPM leader V S Achutanandan who had criticised for the reception given to Mani from Pattom to Pala. "V S need not shed tears thinking about me. He can cry thinking about him and his son. I know what to do," said Mani. He also flayed P C George for continuously abusing the Kerala Congress party and its leaders. He also slammed the VS and the LDF for supporting Santiago Martin. He said that the party news-paper has got the financial support of the lottery king. "I ousted Martin and started Karunya benevolent fund which provides financial support for medical treatment for the poor, he said. He termed Karunya as an achievement of the UDF.
Finally he concluded by saying that he has no hatred against anyone and wished goodness for all including P C George. Before winding up his speech he told Joseph to move ahead together with him and he was ready to extend all support for Joseph.
