Man creates ruckus at hospital

Kochi: A 25-year-old man from Manipur created ruckus at Tripunithura taluk hospital on Tuesday night when he was brought to the hospital after finding him in an unconscious stage at Maradu. According to hospital sources, the man was brought in an ambulance around 10.15pm. When a nurse was trying to collect his blood samples, the man regained consciousness and turned violent. He damaged an almirah and created ruckus by running towards hospital corridors, ward and other places. He was later brought under control forcefully and Tripunithura police took him to Government Medical College Hospital, Ernakulam. Police said the man was working in a mall in the city.Hospital authorities filed a police complaint on Wednesday.

A man was arrested for causing a disturbance and vandalizing a hospital in Perumbavoor, India. The man, identified as Lawrence, had gone to the hospital for treatment but ended up arguing with a doctor and damaging the newly built OP room. In a separate incident, over 500 people were booked for drunken driving in a district-wide combing operation by the police.
