Justice Nagaresh retires from service

Kochi: High court on Tuesday held a full court reference to bid farewell to Justice N Nagaresh on his retirement from judicial service.Chief Justice Soumen Sen presided over the function held in Court Hall No 1. Advocate general K Gopalakrishna Kurup, additional solicitor general P Sreekumar and Kerala High Court Advocates' Association president Peeyus A Kottam delivered addresses on the occasion.Justice N Nagaresh, a native of Vaikom, obtained his law degree from the University of Bombay in 1989. He enrolled as an advocate in Dec 1989 and began his practice at Ernakulam. He also served as assistant solicitor general at the high court.He was appointed as an additional judge of the high court on Nov 5, 2018, and was later elevated as a permanent judge with effect from Sept 14, 2020.
