Flight suffers tyre burst at Cochin airport

Kochi: A tyre burst was reported on a SpiceJet aircraft that landed at Cochin International Airport Ltd (Cial) from Dubai around 4.30am on Tuesday. Cial spokesperson said that the pilot reported some issues with the tyre after landing. It is suspected that the tyre might have got punctured during the landing.The flight, which carried 176 passengers, landed safely. However, as the tyre was punctured and it needed replacement, the return journey of the flight had to be rescheduled. A new tyre had to be brought reportedly from Delhi. tnn
