CBSE Class X results bring cheer to schools in Kochi

Kochi: CBSE schools across Kochi witnessed scenes of celebration as students rejoiced with sweets and cheers following announcement of Class X board examination results on Wednesday. Schools in the city, which fall under Thiruvananthapuram region, reported an overwhelming success rate, with most institutions achieving a 100% pass rate.Individual schools reported notable achievements. Global Public School (GPS), Thiruvaniyoor, recorded a 100% pass rate among 98 students who appeared for the examinations. Of these, 59 students secured 90% and above, while 92 students achieved distinction. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, also recorded a 100% pass, with 151 students appearing for the exam. Among them, 145 students secured distinction and six students obtained first class. Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery, achieved a 100% pass rate, with 193 students appearing for the examinations. Among them, 89 students secured 91% and above in all subjects. At Toc H School, Vyttila, all 200 students who appeared for the examinations passed. Of these, 33.5% scored above 95%, while 55.5% secured 90% and above.Naipunya Public School, Thrikkakkara, also reported a 100% pass rate. Eight students scored above 99%, while 164 students secured more than 90%. A total of 83 students achieved full marks in various subjects. Vidyodaya School recorded a 100% pass, with 139 students securing distinction and 13 obtaining first class. Sanskara School also reported a 100% pass result, with 82% of students securing distinction and 37% scoring 90% and above.All seven schools under Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, also posted strong results. Of the 1,071 students who appeared for the examinations across the seven schools, 995 secured distinction. Speaking to TOI, Rishabh Vinod, a student from Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara who joined the list of national toppers, said that his preparation for examination yielded the results. "I wouldn't say I expected 100%, but I was satisfied with the way I took the examinations.
