is a counterblast to the disclosure he made against actor Dileep in the actress assault case.The case has been registered solely to silence him, at the behest of Dileep, the petitioner contends. The FIR was registered after 12 years, especially after he made the disclosure against Dileep, the plea said. It is also pointed out that neither the prosecution nor the complainant has been able to explain the long delay in filing a complaint. questionedMeanwhile, the crime branch probing the case against Dileep and five others for allegedly conspiring to endanger the lives of police officers who investigated actor assault case, recorded the statement of actor-director Nadirsha on Wednesday. He was questioned for three hours to get clarity on certain details since he was a close friend of Dileep, sources said.Crime branch is also learnt to have questioned a chartered accountant connected to Dileep on Thursday. The team has asked Dileep’s brother Anoop and brother-in-law Suraj to appear before it on Monday. tnn
