Actor Anoop told police actor Dileep sidelined him in the film industry

ALAPPUZHA: Actor Anoop Chandran, known for his roles in films Classmates, Kandahar and Doubles , said actor Dileep, accused in Malayalam actress kidnap an sexual assault case, has sidelined and isolated him in the Malayalm film industry.

ALAPPUZHA: Actor Anoop Chandran, known for his roles in films Classmates, Kandahar and Doubles , said actor Dileep, accused in Malayalam actress kidnap an sexual assault case, has sidelined and isolated him in the Malayalm film industry. He also gave his statements to the special investigation team (SIT) probing the case.
Actor Anoop told TOI 'it was Dileep, who has sidelined him in the industry for speaking against mimicry and due to other reasons.

''I am not ready to reveal all the details now and I have told the issues to the SIT ten days ago. I have told all the issues with the SIT. I will later reveal more details. I have acted more than 100 films and I have not received any roles in the films after Dileep sidelined me,'' said Anoop.
Anoop Chandran is a native of Areeparamb in Cherthala of Alappuzha district. Now he is not active in Malayalam films. The Women in Cinema Collective has also come against MLA K B Ganesh Kumar for disregarding the constitution and the oath taken by him duirng the swearing-in-ceremony by visiting and supporting actor Dileep in jail. They have lodged complaint against Ganesh Kumar with Kerala assembly speaker.
