KANPUR: The weather in the city remained hot and humid on Tuesday. C B Singh, weather scientist of CSA, informed that this rise in the temperature was due to the clear and sunny skies.
However, the conditions for erratic and isolated rains are still prevailing here and the city may witness heavy rains by the end of the ongoing week, he added.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature recorded on Sunday was 34.6 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius.
The humidity recorded in the morning hours was 81 per cent, which declined in the noon hours due to clear skies and remained at 59 per cent.
