UP Police win volleyball championship

Kanpur: UP Police defeated Siddharth Nagar by 3-0 in the final and clinched the open state invitation senior women volleyball championship concluded at Green Park on Monday. Siddharth Nagar girls fought but lost three consecutive sets and the final. Following the match, Chief Guest Akhil Kumar, Police Commissioner, presented trophies and prizes to the winner and runner-up teams.
Boxing: Selection trials for district and divisional level senior boxing men's team will be conducted at Green Park Stadium on Feb 21. The selected divisional team will compete in the state level men senior boxing championship scheduled at Kailash Prakash sports stadium, Meerut, from Feb 27 to Mar 2. Interested boxers should contact Alpana Sharma, Boxing Coach, with their original birth certificate and Aadhar card. tnn
