Two batsmen, especially Tillakaratne enjoyed the luck and lapses of Australian fielders Munaweera was held by Sayers of Krejza at the midwicket region but the third umpire declared him not out as the ball had touched the ground. Later, Tillakaratne Dilshan survived when he was swept back to Krejza in the gully region. Brad Hog held the catch at the boundary line but could not take a jump to hold the ball in the air.
