Kanpur: Virat Sahni and Krish Singh’s unbeaten half centuries and their 161 runs unbeaten partnership for opening wicket enabled Solovair UK XI beat Oliver Brown by 10 wickets in the Pool league match of JNT Under-12 cricket tournament for Sigma Griplock trophy played at the Kanpur South ground on Wednesday.

Oliver Brown XI, deciding to bat first, posted a total of 158 runs. Opener Arjun Singh played an innings of 71 runs hitting 14 boundaries. Solovair in reply scored 161 runs without any loss. Virat Sahni scored unbeaten 85 runs plundering 15 boundaries and a six. Krish Singh contributed unbeaten 58 runs.

Maplewood XI in another match drubbed Perf XI by 37 runs.
