Kanpur: Medium-fast bowlers Kishan Singh and Abhinav Pandey's devastating bowling (8 wickets) helped Sisamau Super Kings thrash Kanpur Prime Indians Govind Nagar by 122 runs in their fourth league match of Kanpur Premier League at the Green Park stadium on Saturday.
Put into bat, Sisamau Super Kings posted a total of 152 runs before dismissing Kanpur Prime Indians for a mere 30 runs. Kishan Singh and Abhinav Pandey claimed four wickets each.
With this victory, Sisamau Super Kings accumulated 4 points from four outings, emerging as strong contenders for semi-finals as third or fourth team. Both Sisamau Super Kings and Kanpur Prime Indians Govind Nagar now have four points, with one match remaining in their league phase.
Mayur Miracles Kalyanpur and RLL Bithoor occupy the first and second positions with 8 and 6 points respectively. Mayur Miracles have one match remaining while Bithoor have completed all five matches.

The opening pair added 86 runs in 10 overs, but following their separation, wickets fell regularly with the remaining nine batsmen adding just 66 runs. Six batsmen failed to reach double figures.
Captain Adarsh Singh played aggressively, timing the ball excellently.
He reached his half-century in 34 balls, eventually scoring 71 runs off 47 deliveries, including 5 boundaries and six sixes. The opening partnership ended when Sarthak Lohia was run out for 13 runs. No significant partnerships materialised thereafter.
Abhishek Pandey, batting at number three, contributed 22 runs. For Kanpur Prime Indians Govind Nagar, Arpit Shukla, Yash Yadav and Sahul Verma claimed two wickets each.
