Show-cause notice to CO

KANPUR: Additional district and sessions judge (second) of Ramabai Nagar C M Dixit issued a show-cause notice to the circle officer of Derapur on Friday and asked to explain why a case be not registered against him for not complying the court orders.
The notice which was sent through SSP Kanpur, directed CO Derapur Vanshraj to appear before the court on December 6 in person and explain why he had not complied with the court orders.On November 14 last, the court had issued a non-bailable warrant against sub-inspector Vinay Kumar Singh, presently posted at Agra, to ensure the service of warrant and arrest through a gazetted officer and present him before the court on November 26.
The judge came to know that the court's orders were not being complied so he issued a show-cause notice against the circle officer.
Sub-inspector Vinay Kumar Singh is a prosecution witness in a murder case and he was not appearing before the court to give evidence in the last so many dates.
