Panel reviews ‘Sarvajan Dawa Sewan’ campaign

Kanpur: A two-member government’s committee on Friday visited various villages of Sarsaul block and Bheetargaon to cross-check the ‘Sarvajan Dawa Sewan’ campaign being held under the National Filariasis Eradication programme.The members of the team are Ashish Kumar and Rahul Kumar Singh advisor and technical officer of the central team government’s vector borne disease control programme. They inquired from the members of the Filaria networking in both the blocks that how they were motivating the families to take medicines. The team first sought from district malaria officer AK Singh information about the profile of the block, number of ASHA workers and plans for the IDA round. Thereafter along with the district malaria officer and representatives of World Health Organization visited Hathipur, Rahnas and Fatehpurva villages and inquired how the medicines were being administered. The team supervised the availability of medicines, chalk, markers and booklets with the personnel engaged in the campaign and marking on the houses. The team members asked to prepare a list of resistant families.
