Kanpur: A 30 year-old man who went missing on Monday was found dead with deep wounds in the

area of the district in the early hours of Tuesday. According to sources, the victim

belonged to the Roshanpur area of Narwal.
He used to work as a daily-wager. On Monday morning, the young man had left the house saying that he would go to work. When he did not reach home in the night, his family members launched a search but in vain. On Tuesday morning, passers-by noticed his body lying in a pool of blood with injuries at
Pali-Sawaijpur
road and alerted the police.
The police are probing the motive for the murder and also whether the victim was hacked to death at the spot or was murdered elsewhere and later his body was dumped at Pali-Sawaijpur road.The police suspect some kind of personal feud may have been the motive for the gruesome killing.
Police are questioning locals of the area to ascertain the identity and arrest the culprits.Inspector Narwal
