Kanpur: Goldiee Masale XI maintained their top position in Pool B, defeating Balmol XI by 36 runs in the pool league match of JNT U-12 cricket tournament for Sigma Griplock trophy played at Kanpur South ground on Saturday.
Deciding to bat first, Goldiee Masale XI posted a total of 5 for 144 with the help of Yuvraj Yadav’s unbeaten knock of 61 runs scored in 50 balls. Thereafter they restricted Balmol XI’s innings of 8 for 108 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
In another match, Oliver Brown XI drubbed Prime Enlighten XI by 8 wkts at the Kanpur South A ground.
