Five nabbed for provocative posts

Kanpur: The police have arrested five youths who were planning to spoil city’s peace through social media posts, regarding Agnipath scheme. The arrested youths have been identified as Bhupendra Yadav, Ayush Bhadauria, Harsh Yadav, Amit Yadav and Raju Yadav. To recall, screenshots of several inflammatory posts went viral on social media platforms on Friday. Police said that there was a plan to set ablaze Ramadevi police outpost in the city by these protesters. The police swung into action and intensified vigil with the help of cyber cell after the screenshots of such messages went viral on social media platforms and managed to nab the trouble-makers. “They have been booked under IPC sections 505 (1) (B), 506 and 120 B,” informed joint commissioner of police Anand Prakash Tiwari.tnn
