Crackdown on illegal land grab at cyber police station site
Kanpur: Police officials took decisive action against land grabbers who illegally occupied land at the cyber police station's property. On the orders of Commissioner of Police Akhil Kumar, the police, along with the department concerned, razed the unauthorised constructions using bulldozers.A sub-inspector had registered a case against four people at the Sachendi police station just the previous day, and the police are currently searching for the suspects. Sub-inspector Ajit Singh of Sachendi police station said that the revenue department had allocated 0.350 hectares of land near Akashdeep Cold Storage, plot number 706, for establishing the cyber police station's administrative building. During his late-night patrol, he discovered unauthorised boundary construction on the designated property.The investigations revealed that four Naubasta residents--Abhishek Mishra, Rajesh Dixit, Vipin Tiwari, and Manoj Tomar--occupied the land and started construction. The sub-inspector subsequently alerted senior officials and registered a complaint against the perpetrators at the Sachendi police station. After discovering the unauthorised constructions, the police demolished the illegal structures while police officials were present. According to Sachendi police station in-charge Dinesh Singh Bisht, efforts are ongoing to apprehend the accused persons.
