CM dedicates Boat Club to public

Kanpur: A new era of water sports on Friday began in the city when CM Yogi Adityanath dedicated the much-awaited Boat Club to the residents of this city.Around 300 students from SNS Junior High School, DPS Inter College, Moti Lal Kheria and Saryu Narayan Bal Vidyalaya played the role of a host. They welcomed the guests and presented buquet to divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar, DG police Kanpur zone Prashant Kumar, ADG police Bhanu Bhaskar, KDA vice-chairman Arvind Kumar and secretary of the club Neeraj Srivastava.Children later enjoyed the boat ride amidst music. Angad Creation Kanpur, Manikarnika Tourist Jhansi and First Security Company, New Delhi jointly conducted its operation.KDA vice-chairman Arvind Singh termed it as a significant development. Bhanu Bhaskar stated that the Boat Club would play an important role in preserving the city’s culture.
