City may get isolated showers today

KANPUR: The temperature again rose on Sunday in the city due to clear sky.
The maximum temperature recorded for the day was 36 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature was 26 degrees.
As per the predictions of the Met department, isolated and erratic rainfall will continue in the days to come. The met officials said that monsoon would probably arrive in the city by June 22.
The pre-monsoon showers have increased the moisture level in the atmosphere. The humidity level was 86% on Sunday in the city.
Yashoda Nagar and adjoining areas witnessed isolated showers on Sunday. According to weather scientists of CSA varsity, the reason for these isolated rains are the rapid changing wind directions.
While predicting the weather conditions, a meteorologist at the CSA varsity, C B Singh said, "The conditions for these isolated showers will continue to prevail even on Monday and therefore, weather will remain pleasant."
