BTech student accidentally injured by teacher

According to the institute director, "a teacher threw a chalk at Manish Shukla, student when he was involved in mischievous activities instead of concentrating on studies. However, the chalk accidently hit the girl's glasses, which broke injuring her eye."

KANPUR: A BTech first-year student, Anjali Verma was accidentally injured by her teacher, here on Monday. The student identified as the residence of Jwahar Nagar is a BTech first year student at Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (AITH).
According to the institute director, Dr RK Trivedi, "a teacher of Professional Communication, Rishi Kumar threw a chalk at Manish Shukla, student when he was involved in mischievous activities instead of concentrating on studies.

However, the chalk accidently hit the girl's glasses, which broke injuring her eye."
The girl was rushed to the nearby private hospital. When asked, the director informed TOI that an explanation was sought from the faculty where it was found that it was a mere accident and the teacher didn't do it intentionally. However, the teacher has been given the warning and has been asked not to repeat such incidence again, said the director.
