SIT’s investigating officer additional commissioner of police (ACP) Anand Kulkarni on Thursday said, “The investigation report in the case was submitted to the government on Wednesday.
It has been decided to sack both the policemen.”
IG Range Kanpur, Prashant Kumar said that action has been recommended after the allegations against both of them were proved in the departmental inquiry.
Kanpur police had arrested Vinay Tiwari and KK Sharma for leaking information about the police movement to the history-sheeter Vikas Dubey before the raid.
