30 wedding guest injured in bus accident in Panki

Kanpur: A bus accident near Bhatia tri-section in Panki area injured more than 30 wedding guests late Wednesday night. Police responded promptly and transported the injured to Kalyanpur community health centre and several private hospitals for treatment. The condition of four passengers is reported to be serious.
The incident occurred when the wedding party of Golu Yadav was returning from Chakeri. According to the wedding guests, the bus driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Inspector Manvendra Singh confirmed that all injured persons received initial medical care, and subsequent legal proceedings would commence upon receipt of a formal complaint.
