1,014 players register for JNT Under-12 Cricket Tournament

Kanpur: As many as 1,014 young cricket aspirants have registered for the 14th JNT Under-12 Cricket Tournament 2026, drawing participation from 73 cities across the country, including Jabalpur, Noida, Gorakhpur, Hapur, Gaya, Najibabad, and Siwan.

The registration process for the tournament started on Apr 10, and ended on May 6.

Around 300 aspirants collected their registration batches at the Kanpur South Ground on Tuesday ahead of the selection trials.

According to Ahmad Ali Khan, the highest number of registrations were received from Kanpur, followed by 159 participants from Lucknow.

Sanjay Shukla, secretary of the JNT organization said that the trials will be conducted from May 8 to May 10, 2026, at Kanpur South Ground.

Outstation participants will have the facility to collect their registration batches on the day of their trials.

Following the trials, a three-day training camp will be organized for the selected players. The tournament is scheduled to commence from May 17, 2026.
