Incidents of crime mar Jodhpur’s foundation day
Jodhpur: Two incidents of crime that took place in Jodhpur on Saturday dented the spirit of celebrations of the city’s 566th foundation day on Sunday.
While a woman was badly beaten up by her neighbour in the city, a man stabbed his sister-in-law to death at a village close to the city.
At Chand Baori in the walled city area, Raghunath Dadhich, an astrologer, attacked a female neighbour on Saturday following an argument over the outer unit of an air conditioner installed at her house.

The second incident stemmed from a dispute over a family’s ancestral land in Dangiawas police station area.
One Madho Singh assaulted his sister-in-law Kiran Kanwar and nephew Bhawani Singh in a drunken state on Saturday night. Kanwar died during treatment while her son is battling for life at a hospital. tnn
