The main accused in the case Sukhjaan alias Nandini,
Sonu Soni

and his father Jagdish Raj Soni were actually arrested after a quick recovery of an abducted three-year-old girl from Saraswati Nagar on September 4. All three accused have now been booked under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
Police commissioner, Jodhpur, Ashok Rathore smelled a rat in a tip-off resulting in recovery of two minor girls aged 14 and 17 years on the intervening night of September 5-6 from a posh colony in Rai Ka Bagh.
"The girls pushed into flesh trade for the past three months along with nine more girls were locked inside the dark room by none other than Sonu Soni after the abduction case resulted in a hot pursuit by the cops," said the commissioner adding that the victims turned out to be Bangladeshi nationals from Barkhanpur Jasore the same places as that of Sukhjaan alias Nandini. Based on heavy bank transactions, the cops zeroed in onto one Sujoy Biswas of Laxmipur village in Baghda, 24 Pargana merely 20 km from the international border along Bangladesh.
Who is Nandini?
This madam has many disguises but comes with the original name of Sukhjaan. Posing as an Indian national, Nandini is actually a Bangladeshi who crosses over to the border at least six times in a year. Nandini impresses the villagers with her lavish lifestyle and promise plum domestic help jobs to innocent minor girls before pushing them into flesh trade here in Jodhpur and other places via Kolkata. Nandini would allegedly then grease the palms of BSF officials along the border.
As per the police officials two more victims of Nandini were earlier arrested in 2012 and 2014 from Jodhpur and are now in Nari Niketan.
