district of Rajasthan on Tuesday, an official said.

"The carcass of T-65 was found in a waterhole. The reason behind the death will be clear after the postmortem," T C

, chief conservator of forest, Sawaimadhopur, said.

According to Verma, 68 tigers are left in the national park.

Possible reason could be because of inbreeding depression. Ranthambore tiger population originated from 4-5 founder tigers. Ask Valmik Thapar and Fateh Singh Rathore. Poachers wiped out entire gene pool in early 1990s. Only 4-5 tigers survived. Today's population all came from this small founder population. Genetic diversity is very low. The strength and vitality of tigers reduced over the years due to lack of new genes. Male tigers became skinny and lost muscles and weight. Subsequent governments in the state failed to address this deteriorating genetic quality of tigers in Ranthambore. To increase tourism and revenue, they shifted some tigers to Sariska and Mukundra. They forced already inbred population to inbred more to produce even more low quality tigers. All government care about is money, not about tiger health. The central government's Wilife Institute of India was also sleeping. They failed to advice relocating tigers from other reserves outside Rajastan. Everything gone to the dogs in this state as far as tiger conservation. They can create as many reserves they want. But, facts are facts. Government is selfish. Of course, when cubs are born everyone is getting happy. But, tigers know you stupid humans forced us to inbreed and put us in this precarious situation. What is the use of low quality cubs?
