Tenant kills man over illicit relationship with wife, 1 held
JAIPUR: A man was allegedly murdered in wee hours of Saturday morning in Hasanpura area of Jaipur. The victim has been identified as Mohit Kumar. One accused has been arrested in the case.
The accused has been identified as Gulfatar Miyan who was living under the alias of Mukesh Kumar Yadav at the victim’s house as a tenant. Vikas Sharma, DCP, Jaipur West, elaborating on the case, said, “According to preliminary probe, we found that Miyan was living at victim’s house for last two years. Locals told us Kumar was in an illicit relationship with Miyan’s wife. When Miyan found out about it, he sent her back home to Bihar and warned Kumar. On Friday night, they got into a brawl and Miyan attacked Kumar with a rod. He hit Kumar on the head resulting in his death.” Kumar had also allegedly asked Miyan who drives an e-rickshaw, to get his wife back from Bihar. As per police, Miyan informed victim’s father who is the actual landlord around 4.00am on Saturday, after which they brought the body down from accused’s house.
