Sewage filth found left on road during inspection

Jaipur: JMC-Heritage commissioner Rajendra Singh Shekhawat during an inspection on Tuesday found that garbage from sewer lines being cleaned as part of monsoon preparedness was left open on the roads.
The inspection was conducted at Gangauri Bazaar, Brahpuri Gyarah Mori Nala, the Nala near Podar Park, the Nala behind Ayurvedic Institute, and smaller drains along the old Amer Road.
Shekhawat also scrutinised the ongoing restoration and beautification work being carried out under the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Scheme.
The commissioner was not satisfied with the quality of previous painting work at several locations and instructed the officials to submit new proposals to rectify the situation and expedite the projects.
He also inspected inflation relief camps at Suresh Sharma Smriti Park, within the Hawa Mahal-Amer zone. While appreciating the existing arrangements, he provided suggestions to enhance the facilities and boost employee morale. TNN
