R’bore alone earns ₹45 crore last year

Jaipur: Highlighting the potential of wildlife tourism, Shikhar Agarwal, ACS (forest and environment) said last year Ranthambore received 5 lakh tourists generating a revenue of Rs 45 crore. He also revealed new destinations like Palighat on Chambal river, boat safari in Dholpur have been developed. He said besides Jhalana and Amagarh, another leopard safari will start in Maila Bagh – giving Jaipur as many as three leopard safaris. Besides, he said, a bird park is also being developed in Jaipur.
