JAIPUR: Led by chief minister Vasundhara Raje, Rajasthan's legislators, parliamentarians and bureaucrats will all participate in a two-day yoga and meditation camp to be held in Jaipur from Friday.
Ahead of the International Yoga Day on June 21, senior state machinery would be provided with a crash course on yoga asanas. All IAS, IPS, IFS along with senior RAS officers, who are posted in Jaipur, are expected to be part of the camp, which is the brain child of Raje.
Along with the elected representatives, the number of participants in the camp is expected to be 600. The participants are expected to attend the camp on both days. The camp is scheduled to begin on Saturday at 7am and at 6.30am on the second day and will end at 7pm on both days. Those who fail to attend the first day, will also not be allowed to participate on Sunday.
"The camp is being held by Isha Foundation. The 'Inner Engineering -Technologies for Wellbeing' programme will focus on ensuring a better lifestyle for the participants, who work under tremendous pressure and have long working hours," said an officer at the CMO.
The camp will include training in Shambhavi Mahamudra, a concept of meditation and help the participants to maintain a healthy, balanced and energetic life, claimed the official release from the CMO.
