JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly received a bomb threat on Monday, triggering an immediate security response and evacuation of the premises.
According to officials, the bomb threat was received via email, after which police and security agencies swung into action.
All people present inside the assembly building and surrounding premises were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Bomb disposal squads and dog squads were deployed to conduct a thorough search of the complex.
Senior police officers and intelligence agencies are monitoring the situation closely.
The threat comes just days after a similar warning was issued on April 24.
