Photos of traffic jam inside Sariska Tiger Reserve

A massive traffic jam was witnessed in the Sariska Tiger Reserve on Saturday.

Nearly 1,000 vehicles of pilgrims crowded at the Pandupol area inside the tiger reserve.

The problem has been persisting for quite some time now as the state forest department failed to take steps to ban vehicular movement.

A forest official said, "As a first step, the entry of private vehicles in the park was restricted except for Tuesday and Saturday."

Coincidentally, the first day of the New Year was a Saturday and tourists thronged in large numbers.

Wildlifers believe the increasing vehicular movement will disturb the natural habitat of the wild cats and cause adverse effects.
