Overspeeding car hits 3 vehicles in Jaipur

Jaipur: An overspeeding car rammed into three vehicles in the Vaishali Nagar area of the city Saturday, dragging one of them for about 15 feet, police said.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The accident occurred around 2.45 pm near the Vaishali Nagar police station. Police said the speeding car first hit a vehicle parked on the roadside and dragged it forward due to the impact before crashing into two other vehicles.

A crowd gathered at the spot following the accident, and police reached the scene after receiving information. The damaged vehicles were later moved to the roadside to clear traffic.

Preliminary investigation suggests the accident occurred due to brake failure, police said. Further inquiry is under way.
