Hamina Kang

, a woman entrepreneur since 2020, owns a boutique hotel where she allows animals to roam freely.
Talking about her inspirational and inclusive story of adventure and love for animals, Kang says, “My 4-acre land is open to wildlife and one can experience the animals including tigers, leopards, nilgai, sambar moving peacefully. Since we are sitting on their land, I believe we have no right to disturb them.”
For

Kang

, an affinity with nature and the wilderness was born when she sighted a leopard and a tiger for the first time in 2005 during her visit to Ranthambore from California. “My husband and I always wanted a retirement house outside a national park. Unfortunately, he passed away after we bought this land in Ranthambore. After this, I renovated the house and started a boutique hotel,” she shares.
Student of environmental sciences, Kang is contributing her bit in protecting tigers, wild animals and spaces. “I had contributed monetarily to many NGOs for protecting wild cats when I was in the USA. After shifting to Ranthambore, I supported local committees in several ways. I helped them sell their paintings and encouraged their children for conservation of nature.”
