“I don’t want to be playing on Christmas”: Lamar Jackson reveals how he truly feels about taking the field on Christmas Day

Lamar was asked by reporters on Monday about his feelings for playing on Christmas rather than getting together with his family. Lamar laughed at this question but did not hold back from revealing that he, in fact, does not prefer to play on Christmas Day and would have liked it if he were at home, enjoying quality time with his family. He said, “I do want to celebrate at home sometimes with my family. All the time, I don’t want to be playing on Christmas.”But it is not like Lamar does not love playing in the NFL; he reiterated his love for the game and his commitment to the team and spoke about how there will be many eyes on them during the match and many people will be tuning in to watch the NFL matches on Christmas Day as they are spending the day with their families. He said, “It's a present for everyone. Lot of eyes on us. And I believe a lot of people will be watching us at the right time. ”Lamar is also excited about one more thing apart from the match, his team, the Baltimore Ravens will be playing against the Houston Texans on Christmas Day; he is excited to watch Beyoncé who is slated to perform at the half time during the match of Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans. Lamar described the fact that Beyonce will be performing is “dope” and he will be going out there and watching her perform since it will be the first time he will be watching her perform live. Lamar then followed it up by apologising to the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens’ John Harbour and spoke about how he would be going out and watching her perform even if it meant leaving the locker room. This interaction was hilarious as he got too excited about watching the global pop star Beyonce perform at his game against the Houston Texans.While Lamar is a bit upset about playing on Christmas Day, there are a lot of debates currently around who will be named the MVP of the 2024 season of the National Football League.
